Financial Hub in Danger

Through various financial scandals that are pouring over our country, we all see that we have a massive problem in Liechtenstein. There are certainly a few weak points in the system of trusteeship, which has been repeatedly discussed over the last few months:

Liechtensteiner Vaterland, 19 April 2018: “FMA wants to shorten trusteeship industry“ (Source)
Liechtensteiner Vaterland, May 29, 2018, “Trustees adapt state standards“ (Source)
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, August 29, 2018, “Liechtenstein’s problem with the trustees“ (Source)

However, it is positive that both the Trustee Chamber and the state institutions (government, State Parliament, and Financial Market Supervision) have become aware of this problem and are working on reforms.

The real problem of Liechtenstein as a financial center, however, is not the set of rules and the system, but the black sheep who use the system to their advantage – partly for criminal purposes – in dishonest or harmful ways. These individuals and companies put the entire financial center in Liechtenstein at risk.

Therefore, this page is dedicated to these black sheep. Here, these individuals, trustees, law firms and businesses and their cases are brought in front of the curtain. The purpose is to achieve 3 goals:

  1. It is clearly and unequivocally documented that not all of Liechtenstein consists of such black sheep – on the contrary: there are a few. And we are paying our full and intense attention to them.

  2. You, as a reader or a person concerned, should be encouraged to actively participate in the self-cleaning process of our financial center by acting as a whistleblower and sending problematic facts to this platform (encrypted and 100% confidential).

  3. This page is also intended to support the reform process that is currently underway. All our commitment and sympathy should apply to those who want to eliminate weaknesses and who already recognized the danger for the country. Those who block and believe everything can go on as they are, will not be able to count on support.

We wish you an interesting and, above all, enlightening reading on our website www.schwarzeschafe.li.
